Okay, so I've been gone for a whole day now and I just feel the need to tell the whole world what I've learned today, and yesterday: for the love of everything that is holy, ware your life jackets. I went cannoing on the river yesterday. It was nice, until the last thrity minutes when we hit some pretty narly weather. It was, if I must say, DO or DIE time becauce if we had stopped paddling like raged lunitics, two things would have happend. One, the cannoe would have flipped us over, and two we would have all been pulled under by the nasty curret. We, well I tipped it over but at the vary end, not while we where in the middle of the river, because I got too exicted and tried to get out of the boat too fast and the river got away with my favorite jacket, and almost took my shoe with it. At the end though was a hot shower, which I needed despretly, and a chicken sanwich. My vaction is going well so far and when I get back to NM, I'm going to do NOTHING but sit on my ass and draw for all you. Another thing I must add is that I've finally found a book that had me completly ingrossed.
Run for Your Life, by James Patterson was absoultly amazing. It's new, just released this year even and had me just completly wrapped around it's fingers, maybe even twrilling me around like some fancy ring or something but the book is, at the vary lest, good. The characters in it where enjoyable, as much as real to a cirten extent. If you're into phycological thrillers I'd recomend this book to your shelf. :}
